How to Prepare Artwork for Screen Printing
Submitting clean artwork is one of the easiest ways to get professional results from your screen printing project. Here's what you need to know.
1. Use High-Resolution Files
300 DPI minimum
Vector files (AI, EPS, PDF) are best
2. Convert Fonts to Outlines
This prevents missing font issues.
3. Keep Colors Simple
Screen printing uses separate screens for each color.
Bold, simple colors look best.
4. Remove Backgrounds
Transparent backgrounds make the design cleaner.
5. Avoid Thin Lines
Very small details may not print well.
